Volunteers from Lawson Company brought cheer and excitement to the children and guardians as they played some fun games for everyone, distributed gifts, prizes and good food. Of course, Jollibee is always a hit for the kids!.Thank you so much everyone for making this day a real FUNday!

To give children a light of hope and support 2. To encourage members to spread the value of charity 3. To utilize one’s skills and knowledge for the benefit of community building. The children drew the cartoon characters onto the “katcha” fabric, and handpainted the drawing afterwards. This is a special bag making project of the mothers together with their children during the Christmas season.

MOVE Para sa KINABUKASAN

A group of volunteer students from La Lasalle Taft, did their outreach at Pediatric ward of PGH..Their program, they called “MOVE para sa Kinabukasan” was held in the Pedia Playroom. They prepared a 3 hour program, that included, story telling, sherades, teaching an action song, making origami, and the card making. They gave the children and their parents snacks and they also have some give-aways of books, toys, school and art supplies..We want to thank them all for a wonderful time that they shared with the children and parents. Share a H.E.A.R.T Project

A group of economic students from San Beda College,conducted their outreach project called “Share a H.E.A.R.T.: ( Human Experience About Real Trials”) It’s a Valentines party for the kids and parents held on the 13th of February 2011 at Philippine General Hospital, inside the Pedia Playroom. Kids had so much fun with the clowns’ magic show and fun games.

Most of the time the children get their treatment/theraphy that sometimes go on for a few days to weeks, then months. A party like this is really a good chance for them to forget their sickness at least for an hour or so. Thank you for taking the time to provide these kids the much needed break from the usual routine of blood transfusion, chemo theraphy, and different tests that they go thru for their illness. Let us continue to pray for these little ones and their families ..God never fails! And prayers can do mighty things!
